Helena Pires

Assistant Professor in the Communication Sciences Department of the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho, Helena Pires got her PhD in Communication Sciences, in 2007, by the same university. She teaches in the fields of Advertising, Cyberculture and Semiotics. Helena Pires has been researching on urban landscape and visual culture. She is currently the co-coordinator of the project “Landscapes, Culture and Arts of Contemporaneity”.
